Marketing gets abandoned in the gap between deciding to do it and having something to post. You know what you want to say. Turning that into a caption, a picture that is the right shape, a link somebody can follow and an advert that does not get rejected is an afternoon, and there is never an afternoon.
Velora closes that gap to a sentence.
One screen for all of it
Marketing in Velora holds your paid advertising on Facebook and Instagram, your Google ads, your organic posts, a calendar and your tracked links, in one place. The real results are pulled back every night, so what you are looking at is what actually happened rather than what you hoped when you set it up.
Start with a post
Posts go to your Facebook Page, and to Instagram as well if you tick it, either on a schedule or straight away.
Tell the Post assistant what the post is about. It writes in this business's voice, learned from the business's own recent posts rather than from a template, and it picks a photograph from your library.
What comes back is the caption on the left and, on the right, the post as Facebook will actually show it. That preview carries a tracked link, which is the part that pays for itself: every tap and every enquiry that comes from this post is counted against this post, so at the end of the month you know which one did the work.
Save it as a draft, pick a time, or publish now. Nothing goes out until you say so.
Then an ad
There are three kinds: a new advert from scratch, a boost of a post you already have, and a lead form advert that collects the enquiry inside Facebook.
The composer walks four steps. The copy, the image, where it sends people, and the budget and audience.
Tell the Ad assistant what you are advertising and who it is for. It drafts the primary text, a headline inside forty characters and a link description inside thirty, which are Facebook's own limits and the most common reason a home made advert comes back rejected. Staying inside them is not a creative decision, it is a rule, so it should not be your problem.
The image comes from your library. The destination is your own site, through a tracked link, so it cannot point at a page that is not there. The preview shows exactly how Facebook crops it, which is the difference between a picture with a face in it and a picture with the top of a head in it.
Then the money and the people. Rands per day, how many days, ages, where they are, what they are interested in, and when it runs.
It starts paused, always
Every advert Velora creates is created paused. It sits in your advertising account, built, and nothing spends until you switch it on from this screen when you are ready.
From then on the results come back here every night: what it cost, how many people saw it, and how many enquiries it brought in. Not clicks standing in for customers. Enquiries, counted as people, against the advert that earned them.
The video at the top of this post is a post and an advert being built, start to finish, with nothing cut out.
